Scar revision surgery is a procedure done to improve the cosmetic appearance of
an existing scar or to restore function to an area that may be restricted by the existing scar due to location or poor healing. It is important to understand that there is no way to remove scars completely. Dr. Pennington can recommend a plan to disguise the scar or relocate and minimize its appearance while maintaining as much function to the area as possible.
