Otoplasty (Ear Pinning)
This is a cosmetic ear surgery to change the shape, position, or the size of the
ears. Someone might be considering otoplasty surgery if they feel their ears stick out too far from their head, if they feel their ears are too big in proportion to their head, or in some cases if the ears are misshapen due to an injury or birth defect.
Dr. Pennington typically performs otoplasty to both ears to optimize symmetric results. This procedure will not change the location of your ears or alter your ability to hear.
