First, our licensed medical aesthetician will examine your skin under our SkinCeuticals Skinscope to pinpoint skin problems that the naked eye can’t detect. While healthy skin reflects back UV light creating a blue glow, the existence of unwanted pigmentation, poor desquamation, dehydration, congested pores, and skin oiliness is reflected in a variety of fluorescent shades. The scope is complimentary to any patient during a skincare consultation.

Once she has analyzed your skin, she will customize a skincare routine specific to your wants and needs. Dr. Pennington will revise the suggested treatment and also examine your skin to ensure the best skincare treatment is in plan for you.

We carry high quality medical grade products in office. When deciding on a skincare line, Dr. Pennington chooses products based on their strength and effectiveness proven through scientific testing. Each line of medical grade skincare was individually selected for their superiority in specific areas. A few good products can go a long way, and doesn’t have to break the bank!

Virtual Skincare Consultations are also available at Pennington Facial Plastics! This is a great option if you are super busy or out of town. We love seeing our patients in person, but understand life gets busy. Here’s how the virtual skincare consultations are conducted:

Dr. Pennington will send you a survey to fill out to better understand your medical history, skin conditions and skincare goals.

You’ll send us a few pictures that Dr. Pennington and her medical aestheticians will review and discuss to come up with the best skincare routine customized to you.

We schedule a zoom or FaceTime call with you, Dr. Pennington, and a medical aesthetician to fill you in on our plan, go over products, and talk next steps.
