Slide Buccal Fat Pad Excision The buccal fat pad is a deep pocket of fat below the malar eminence (cheek) and behind the buccinator muscle which can produce a more rounded and full face. Buccal Fat pad excision can be performed to improve the definition of the face and narrow an excessively round face. While the procedure is subtle in its overall result, when performed correctly it can produce a more prominent depression (contour) below the cheek region. This procedure is done through an incision to the inside of each cheek and gently removing the fat pad from each side providing a “thinning” effect of the lower cheek region. Policies

Deposit and No-Show Policy

  • Our office has a cancellation and no-show appointment policy: A 24-hr. notice is required for all cancellations, or a $25 fee will be charged.
  • $25 fee will be charged to any No Show appointments.

Procedure Deposits

  • A $25 deposit is required for all Aesthetic appointments scheduled with an Aesthetician.
  • A 20% deposit is required for all procedures booked. Fees will be given at the time of booking.

*20% deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 1 weeks of procedure date with Aesthetician. (Morpheus8, Erbium, CoolSculpting)
* 20% deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 2 weeks for in office procedures with Dr. Pennington.

Surgery Deposits

  • Surgery deposits are COMPLETELY refundable up until 4 weeks before your scheduled surgery date. Less than 4 weeks notice of a cancellation will result in forfeiting your deposit.

CareCredit

  • To use your CareCredit account at our office you must have a minimum of $1000.00 charge.

*24-month fixed pay/reduced APR*.
Our office does not offer the no interest options through CareCredit.

Refunds/Returns

  • Up to 2-week returns will be taken for full credit towards a new product. Between 14-30 days a 50% credit applied. (must be in original bottles)
  • If a reaction is noted after use immediately contact our office for evaluation and treatment. *Bring product with you*

Injection Fee

  • Any appointment where an injection takes place without purchase of product at that appointment a $50 fee for supplies will be applied.

Fee For Service
  • All services medical or cosmetic are paid out of pocket. Our office does not accept insurance as we are not in contract with any insurance carriers. For Dermatology or Medical facial plastic surgery appointments, our office can provide you with a “Super Bill” that you may forward to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. We offer a very reasonable pricing per visit based on number of issues addressed and diagnosis. All Fees and charges are discussed prior to any services provided; fees are due at the time of service. Our office accepts cash, personal checks, debit cards, and all major credit cards. There is a $35 charge for all returned checks. Surgery Consultations

There is no fee for a surgery consultation with Dr. Pennington. However we do have a cancellation and rescheduling policy stated below:

  • Less than 48 hours notice will result in a $150 fee.
  • Less than 24 hours notice will result in a $250 fee.
