Various areas of our face are prone to natural volume loss as we age including the brow, cheeks, and the often ignored temples. When there is hollowing of the temples, it can cause the face to appear more skeletal, aged and sharp. Using injectable fillers, Dr. Pennington was able to restore volume to these two patients’ hollow temples with an anatomical and structural approach. Conservative lip filler and Botox combo for the win

This patient in her 50s wanted to soften the lines around her mouth and add a touch more volume to her lips.

This result was achieved with small amount of Botox around the mouth (6 units for lip flip and 3 units in her DAO - helps keep the corner of the mouth from pulling down, 4 units in the chin -helps prevent dimpling aka orange peel skin)and 0.6 cc Juvéderm Ultra Plus filler. We are obsessed!! So natural!
